This is my good friend Abby. In March she discovered that she had breast cancer. She has gone through months of chemotherapy and the sickness that comes along with it. She was responding well to the therapy to the point where the tumor was gone! Our joy soon turned to sorrow as we found out that not only had the tumor grown back, but there were two of them. All of this while she was still undergoing chemo. About two weeks ago Abby had to have a masectomy. After visiting her today I know that she is scared and in a lot of pain. Since the chemo is so strong, it can damage the heart so now she has to go through some testing to see if she can continue to have chemo. In March her Doctor told her that "Abby's outcome looks swell". Now here in July, he says her outcome does not look "swell". My heart goes out to my dear friend and her sweet family. She told me that she is going to "fight like hell". I know you don't all know Abby, but please say a little prayer for her that she may be able to get through this and stay strong! Thank you!
