Abby Ann Clark Hollingshaus 1974 ~ 2007 Abby, The Center of our family, passed away May 22, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 30, 1974 in Provo, Utah to John Anderson and Kristin Threlkeld Clark. She was raised in Springville, and graduated from Springville High School. After graduation, she pursued a career in cosmetology. She married Daniel Alfred Hollingshaus on June 4, 1994 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and she then found her true talent as a full time wife and mother. Abby lived a wonderful life, and left behind a legacy of love and the importance of family. She was dedicated in everything that she did, and demonstrated to all of her family and friends the true meaning of what it is to love. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and she enjoyed drawing, dancing, hiking, monopoly and being outdoors. She is survived by her husband Dan and her children, Tommy Clark Hollingshaus and Izabelle Jane Hollingshaus of West Jordan; her parents, John and Renee Clark of Torrey, UT; and Kristin Threlkeld of West Jordan; her siblings, Jeremy (Marcie) Clark of Lindon; Janey (Fernando) Dilig of West Jordan; and Jonathan (Maira) Clark of Provo; her grandmothers, Lois A. Clark of Provo and Emma Threlkeld of Salt Lake; her mother-in-law, Janice Hollingshaus of Salt Lake. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dr. James Kyle Clark and John Threlkeld, and by her father-in-law, John Hollingshaus. Abby, we love you, and you will be greatly missed! Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., at the Heritage 2nd Ward, 7645 South 3200 West, West Jordan. Friends may call Monday evening, at the Ward Chapel, from 6-8 p.m., and family may call Tuesday morning, one hour prior to services.
